Traducendome parte 1

 

I have many things to do today. Perhaps too many, and I’m not sure if I’ll do them all. I have homework, research, and work to do. Yes, but I also have my roles: the best friend, the good friend, the reader, the writer, and the girlfriend. How I will manage all these roles if I have to take them all on? I have to make dinner, go to therapy, take my vitamins, and sleep as well. Any one of these is enough to consume an entire day, all my energy, burn every calorie I eat. It’s hard work to be a person.

Ho un sacco di cose da fare oggi. Magari troppe, e non sono sicuro di farne tutte. Ci sono i compiti, la ricerca e il lavoro da fare. Sì, ma ho anche i miei ruoli: devo fare la migliore amica, l’amica stretta, la lettrice e la fidanzata. Come gestirò tutti questi ruoli se devo farne tutti? Inoltre, devo preparare la cena, andare in terapia, prendere le vitamine e dormire. Qualsiasi basterà esaurire un’interna giornata, tutta la mia energia, bruciare ogni caloria che mangio. Essere una persona è lavorare sodo.
